General Spatial
Interpretation
The canonical home of BitPangea’s shared spatial interpretation architecture.
General Spatial Interpretation is the provisional architectural domain for expressing higher spatial entities against BitPangea’s canonical reference system without turning those entities into part of the Foundational Survey Fabric itself. Its purpose is to provide a shared spatial language for describing location, extent, geometry, relationship, and World membership across non-Parcel structures while preserving the separation between foundational spatial truth and the things defined within it.
This page establishes the permanent institutional home for that architecture within The Atlas. It is intentionally concise while the governing record is being formalized, allowing the domain to remain visible without presenting incomplete spatial interpretation as established structure.
Atlas Working Principle A lower layer should provide the stable reference needed by higher layers without absorbing the identities, meanings, or functions those higher layers create.
Standing
Structural Domain
The shared spatial interpretation architecture through which higher structures can reference canonical BitPangea space without becoming part of the Survey Fabric. Within the demonstrated spatial dependency, it receives stable World-space from Spatial Ground and provides the interpretive basis required by the Parcel Cadastre.
Status
Provisional as an Atlas architectural domain. Its purpose and boundary are established at a working level; its exact ontology, authority, and internal structure remain open.
Authority
The Foundation and The Codex constrain what must remain true. The Atlas records the architectural design that gives those truths durable spatial expression.
Purpose of This Space
General Spatial Interpretation exists to give higher World structures a common way to describe where they are, what spatial extent they occupy, how they relate geometrically, and whether they participate in BitPangea World-space. It operates upon the enduring World-space established through Spatial Ground while remaining anchored to canonical Survey reference, without creating competing spatial truth.
Its governing direction is deliberately bounded: interpret and describe spatial entities by reference to the canonical Survey Fabric, but do not redefine the Survey Fabric, assume Parcel identity, impose ownership or rights, or collapse distinct spatial classes into one ontology. The layer should provide shared spatial meaning without becoming the source of permanent spatial truth.
Atlas Working Principle Reference first. Interpret above.
Architectural Boundary The Survey Fabric provides canonical spatial reference. Spatial Ground establishes enduring World-space. General Spatial Interpretation describes higher spatial entities within that established ground.
Demonstrated dependency: Spatial Ground → General Spatial Interpretation → Parcel Cadastre. This relationship is part of the demonstrated spatial dependency and does not establish a universal ordering for the remaining Architecture domains.
