Identity / Rights /
Control
The canonical home of BitPangea’s identity, rights, authorization, and control architecture.
Identity / Rights / Control is the provisional architectural domain for the systems that determine who or what an actor is, what rights may exist, what authority may be exercised, and how control may be granted, delegated, restricted, transferred, or revoked. Its purpose is to keep identity and authority structurally distinct from canonical place so that rights may evolve without altering the permanent spatial truth of BitPangea.
This page establishes the permanent institutional home for that architecture within The Atlas. It is intentionally concise while the governing record is being formalized, allowing the domain to remain visible without presenting incomplete identity, rights, or control systems as established architecture.
Atlas Working Principle Permanent place should remain independent of the actors, rights, and authorities that may exist upon it.
Standing
Structural Domain
The architectural domain through which identity, rights, authority, and control may be defined above canonical spatial and cadastral truth without becoming part of Parcel spatial identity, Parcel position, or the Foundational Survey Fabric.
Status
Provisional as an Atlas architectural domain. Its purpose and separation from canonical spatial identity are established at a working level; its exact rights model, actor model, authority structure, and control mechanisms remain open.
Authority
The Foundation and The Codex constrain what must remain true. The Atlas records the architectural design through which those truths receive durable structural expression.
Purpose of This Space
Identity / Rights / Control exists to provide a durable architectural boundary between permanent place and the changing relationships that may govern access, possession, stewardship, ownership, delegation, authority, and control. Parcels and other spatial entities may retain permanent identity and position even as the actors and rights associated with them change.
Its governing direction is deliberately bounded: define identity, rights, and control without embedding those relationships into the permanent spatial substrate itself. The architecture may determine who may act, what authority is recognized, and how control is expressed, but changes in those relationships should not renumber, relocate, reinterpret, or otherwise alter canonical spatial truth.
Atlas Working Principle Place persists. Rights may change.
Architectural Boundary The Atlas preserves place separately from the authority exercised over that place.
Dependency standing: Identity / Rights / Control requires stable canonical entities to which actors, rights, authority, and control can refer, including Parcel identity where applicable. Its exact dependency relationships with Persistence / Provenance, Interoperability, World Runtime, and Experience Architecture have not yet been established as one strict sequence.
