# Spatial Ground Specification Adoption Act

**BitPangea · The Atlas · Spatial Ground**
**Adoption Act:** SG-ACT-SPEC-2026-0001
**Creator Period:** Day #132 · October 6, 2026
**Status:** COMPLETE — APPROVED
**Adopted Specification:** SG-SPEC-1.0

---

## 1. Purpose

This Adoption Act formally adopts the reconciled Spatial Ground Specification after successful completion of the Gate B Adoption Review.

The act changes the Specification's institutional standing from:

```text
DRAFT FOR GATE B ADOPTION REVIEW
```

to:

```text
ADOPTED — SG-SPEC-1.0
```

This act adopts the governing Spatial Ground Specification.

It does **not** adopt the canonical World-space instance.

---

## 2. Adoption Basis

Formal adoption is supported by the completed institutional sequence:

```text
Spatial Ground Requirements — ADOPTED
Gate 0 — CLOSED
Gate A — COMPLETE
FSF-SPEC-1.0 — CANONICALLY ADOPTED
FSF → Spatial Ground handoff — SUFFICIENT
CMPM — SELECTED
Canon-Form Policy — ESTABLISHED
SG-CJSON 1.0 — SELECTED
Spatial Ground Conformance — ESTABLISHED
SG-RV-1.0 — ESTABLISHED
Independent reimplementation — DEMONSTRATED
Adversarial / reconstruction review — PASS
SG-RV-024 re-evaluation — EXPECTED RESERVED BLOCK
Gate B Adoption Review — PASS
```

No known production-critical contradiction remains within the adopted Spatial Ground Specification profile.

---

## 3. Canonical Specification Identity

The adopted top-level Spatial Ground Specification identifier is:

```text
SG-SPEC-1.0
```

Its governing upstream dependency is:

```text
FSF-SPEC-1.0
```

Its canonical machine-readable Ground representation is:

```text
SG-CJSON 1.0
```

The identity boundary is:

```text
FSF-SPEC-1.0 — canonical Survey mathematics
SG-SPEC-1.0  — canonical Spatial Ground semantics
SG-CJSON 1.0 — canonical Ground representation
```

---

## 4. Adopted Semantic Core

`SG-SPEC-1.0` adopts:

```text
Canonical Membership Predicate Model (CMPM)
M_D : S → {WORLD, NON_WORLD}
validity-before-membership
one canonical Ground Definition
two-valued exact membership
representation independence
deterministic evaluation
semantic equivalence discipline
canonical-form precedence
Closed World-Space convention for supported production spatial-set classes
SG-CJSON 1.0
FSF-SPEC-1.0 dependency
FSF-CJSON-1.0 Survey geometry boundary
production placement envelope [-500,000,+500,000]²
one fsf root / one primary FSF spatial-set definition for the first production profile
```

---

## 5. Capability Boundary

This adoption does not silently add capabilities outside the adopted FSF dependency surface.

In particular:

```text
general Boolean / composite-result closure
```

is not part of the current production profile.

SG-RV-024 remains:

```text
EXPECTED RESERVED BLOCK
```

rather than being converted into a fabricated production result.

---

## 6. World-Space Instance Separation

This Adoption Act does not make any particular Survey location canonical World-space.

It does not:

- select final World geometry;
- select final World placement;
- identify final World limit coordinates;
- adopt a Ground Definition instance;
- exhaust Creator design authority over the exact World-space instance.

The adopted Requirements expressly reserve canonical status of a Spatial Ground definition to a separate authorized recorded Adoption Act.

Therefore:

```text
Specification adoption
≠
World-space instance adoption
```

---

## 7. Gate B Disposition

Because the Gate B Adoption Review passed and this Adoption Act now gives the Specification canonical institutional standing:

```text
GATE B — COMPLETE
```

Gate B completion means the governing Spatial Ground Specification is adopted.

It does not mean the canonical World-space instance is adopted.

---

## 8. Canonical Repository Standing

Recommended primary normative path:

```text
/theatlas/spatial-ground/specification/spatial-ground-specification.md
```

That active file should contain the adopted `SG-SPEC-1.0` text.

Recommended preserved Adoption Act path:

```text
/theatlas/spatial-ground/review/adoption/SG-ACT-SPEC-2026-0001.md
```

Recommended preserved Gate B review path:

```text
/theatlas/spatial-ground/review/adoption/SG_Gate_B_Adoption_Review_Day132.md
```

---

## 9. Formal Adoption

By this recorded act:

> **The reconciled Spatial Ground Specification is formally adopted as `SG-SPEC-1.0`.**

Standing:

```text
SPATIAL GROUND SPECIFICATION — ADOPTED
SPECIFICATION IDENTIFIER — SG-SPEC-1.0
GATE B — COMPLETE
CANONICAL WORLD-SPACE INSTANCE — NOT YET ADOPTED
```

---

## 10. Next Institutional Action

Proceed to the canonical World-space instance adoption sequence.

That sequence must identify the exact final Ground Definition and prove that the induced World-space satisfies the adopted Requirements and `SG-SPEC-1.0`, including the inherited `FSF-SPEC-1.0` production placement constraint.

---

## Governing Principle

> **The Specification now governs how Spatial Ground works. A separate Adoption Act will determine which exact Ground Definition becomes The World.**
