# Codex WP-S-III — The Cluster **Domain:** World Properties (WP) **Codex:** WP-S-III **Title:** The Cluster **Adopted:** July 11, 2026 --- # Definition **A Cluster is the cartographic property describing a contiguous portion of the World within BitPangea.** --- # Domain Assignment Codex WP-S-III belongs to the **World Properties Domain (WP).** The World Properties Domain asks: > **What properties does the World possess?** Unlike the Structural Domain, which establishes the constitutional vocabulary required to describe the World, and the Relational Domain, which establishes the objective grammar describing how structural concepts relate, the World Properties Domain preserves the constitutional recognition of objective properties already existing within the World. World Property Codices do not create the properties they describe. They preserve the constitutional recognition of realities that objectively exist regardless of discovery. Accordingly, World Property Codices are not required to form a chain of constitutive dependency. Their ordering reflects the constitutional priority through which the World progressively reveals its objective properties. --- # Constitutional Progression Codex WP-S-I established **Extent** as the spatial scope of the World. Codex WP-S-II established **Region** as a large-scale property recognized within that scope. Codex WP-S-III continues constitutional discovery by recognizing **Cluster** as another objective spatial property already existing within the World. Neither discovery nor codification creates a Cluster. They merely recognize its existence. --- # Spatial Properties The currently recognized Spatial Properties of the World are: - **WP-S-I — Extent** - The spatial scope of the World. - **WP-S-II — Region** - A coherent large-scale portion of the World. - **WP-S-III — Cluster** - A contiguous portion of the World. --- # The Definition A Cluster exists as a contiguous portion of the World. A Cluster does not establish ownership, governance, jurisdiction, settlement, identity, value, access, purpose, or civilizational meaning. A Cluster is recognized as an objective property of the already-existing World. Its recognition neither creates nor alters the World itself. --- # Formal Definition A Cluster is the cartographic property describing a contiguous portion of the World within BitPangea. A Cluster is a property of the World rather than a property of any individual Parcel, inhabitant, institution, government, claim, or settlement. Clusters Are Recognized, Not Created Discovery, naming, mapping, or codification recognize Clusters but do not create them. --- ## 2. Contiguity Does Not Imply Governance A contiguous portion of the World possesses no inherent ownership, jurisdiction, administration, or authority. --- ## 3. Clusters Possess No Prescribed Scale This Codex establishes no constitutional threshold defining the size or geometry of a Cluster. --- ## 4. Clusters Precede Civilizational Meaning Clusters exist before any inhabitant, institution, culture, settlement, or government assigns meaning to them. --- ## 5. Constitutional Recognition Does Not Create World Properties Recognition preserves objective reality rather than producing it. --- ## 6. World Properties Exist Prior to Discovery The World possesses its properties regardless of whether they have yet been constitutionally recognized. --- # Relation to Future Spatial Inquiry Cluster establishes another objective Spatial Property recognized within the World. This Codex does not define any finer-grained World Property that may later be recognized within Clusters. Future constitutional inquiry may continue revealing additional objective World Properties without requiring those discoveries to form a constitutive dependency chain. --- # Scope This Codex acknowledges the existence and necessity of Cluster as the third Spatial Property within the World Properties Domain. It establishes that contiguous portions may be recognized within the World.
