Constellation II · Digital Antiquity
The Packet
The messenger that carried information across impossible distances.
Preservation
Long before the world was connected as it is today, messages were broken into pieces and sent one by one.
Each piece traveled its own path.
Each piece carried only a small part of the whole.
Some arrived quickly.
Some arrived later.
Some never arrived at all.
But when enough pieces came together, the message was whole again.
The packet did not care where it came from.
It cared only that it reached its destination.
Invisible to most.
Essential to all.
Long before modern networks, the packet became one of the fundamental units of digital civilization.
